The prestigious vehicles roaming Indian roads—such as Mahindra Jeeps, Tata cars, and Toyota vehicles—carry the proud stamp of “Made in India” within their gearboxes. The organization behind this pride is Divgi TorqTransfer Systems (Divgi-TTS).

What began as a small workshop in 1964 has evolved today into a giant providing global-level automotive powertrain solutions. This success story is not just about technology; rather, it is about the unwavering faith and foresight of two brothers, Mr. Ramarao Divgi and Mr. Bhaskar Divgi.

Their hard work soon bore fruit, as they began receiving orders from major companies such as Mahindra, Kirloskar, and Philips. During the 1965 war, the organization played a significant role in the country’s defense efforts by supplying critical gearbox components for Mahindra Jeeps. This served as a powerful testament to the exceptional quality and reliability of their products.
